Job Summary:  
Linkletter Farms is seeking a Mechanic. The Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain farm equipment, trucks, trailers, and other machinery to support daily operation to meet established quality standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are essential for this position.  

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain farm equipment, trucks, trailers, and other machinery. 

• Meet quality standards. 

• Operate tools and equipment to perform tasks. 

• Perform on-farm tasks as directed, adhering to all regulations and company policies. 

• Prioritize health and safety 

• Demonstrate self-motivation and teamwork while working independently. 

Qualifications:  

• 2+ years of mechanical experience  

• Red Seal certification preferred 

• Driver's License 

• Knowledge of farm equipment 

• Proficient in using tools and equipment 

• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks 

• You should possess excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills 

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality 

• Attention to detail lead and ability to maintain high quality work 

• Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns 

Job Location: Linkletter, Prince Edward Island 

Benefits and Compensation Information: 

• Hours of work are dependent on production. Flexibility to work on days, evenings and Saturdays would be required.

• $22 – $ 24.50 per hour
