Position Summary
The Manager or Senior Manager (based on experience) of Partner Programs & Operations is the operational engine behind Priorities USA's external engagement work. This role sits at the intersection of partner relationship management, program execution, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring that the Director of Outreach, Partnerships & Growth and the Chief Impact Officer are fully equipped and supported in every external interaction, and that the programs and systems that sustain Priorities' partner ecosystem run smoothly and consistently.
This is a role for someone who thrives on getting things done behind the scenes, takes pride in making senior leaders more effective, and is energized by the complexity of managing multiple work streams across a fast-moving political environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, politically fluent, and equally comfortable drafting a briefing doc, managing a training recruitment pipeline, or synthesizing ecosystem intelligence into a clean one-pager.
This is a remote position. The role includes occasional travel, and working hours are 10AM–6PM ET regardless of location. We are not currently registered to do business in all locations. In particular, we are not currently accepting applicants based in Florida, Hawaii, Missouri, and Texas due to regulatory considerations.

- Build and maintain briefing documents, relationship trackers, and partner profiles that keep the Director and CIO fully prepared for every external meeting
- Serve as a responsive point of contact for partners on operational and logistical matters, escalating strategically to the Director when senior-level engagement is needed
- Support the Director in preparing for and following up on coordination tables and coalition meetings — including note-taking, tracking commitments, and drafting action item summaries
- Help manage the onboarding of new partners into Priorities' ecosystem, ensuring a smooth handoff from initial outreach through active engagement
Training & Briefing Series Operations – ~25%
- Own the logistics and execution of Priorities' recurring briefing series — managing the content calendar, coordinating across product, research, and paid media teams, handling invitations and attendee tracking, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality cadence
- Lead outreach and recruitment for multi-audience training tracks, leveraging partner relationships and Priorities' network to drive participation across funder, organizer, and opposition researcher audiences
- Manage training logistics end-to-end, including scheduling, materials coordination, participant communications, and post-session follow-up
- Track attendance, engagement, and feedback across training and briefing programs, synthesizing insights for the Director and CIO to inform curriculum and program development
Research & Ecosystem Intelligence – ~20%
- Maintain Priorities' ecosystem tracker — monitoring the progressive digital landscape, tracking key organizations, and flagging emerging opportunities or gaps for the Director and CIO
- Conduct background research on partner organizations, prospective clients, candidate camps, and political validators to support external meetings and outreach sequencing
- Build the prep materials, talking points, and one-pagers the Director and CIO need to show up fully informed in every external conversation
- Synthesize partner and field intelligence into regular internal updates for Priorities leadership, helping translate ground-level insights into actionable recommendations
Business Development Pipeline Support – ~15%
- Manage the tools and products business development pipeline — tracking prospect status, maintaining CRM records, coordinating follow-up, and ensuring relationships move through the process efficiently
- Draft pitch materials, capability one-pagers, and partner-facing collateral in coordination with the Director and product leads
- Coordinate handoffs from initial partner conversations to product and revenue leads, ensuring a seamless transition and consistent partner experience
- Relay partner feedback from the pipeline to the product team, helping close the loop between business development and product development
Cross-Functional Coordination – ~5%
- Serve as the connective tissue between the Director and internal teams — including Flock, digital, research, and communications — ensuring follow-through on commitments made in external meetings
- Track cross-functional action items and deadlines, proactively flagging risks and keeping relevant stakeholders informed
- Support the Director in preparing for internal leadership meetings, including agenda development, materials prep, and follow-up documentation
Qualifications
- 3-4 years for the Manager role, 5–7 years of experience for the Senior Manager role, in political organizing, partnership coordination, campaign operations, digital communications, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Politically fluent and deeply familiar with the progressive ecosystem — comfortable navigating coalition spaces, understanding table dynamics, and recognizing the key players at the state and national level
- Excellent written communication skills — able to draft clean briefing docs, sharp follow-up emails, and crisp one-pagers with minimal direction
- A natural collaborator who works well across teams and knows when to escalate vs. when to just handle it
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a bias toward action and a low tolerance for things falling through the cracks
- Familiarity with digital advertising, audience research tools, or data products is a plus
- Commitment to Priorities USA's mission and values, including equity, inclusion, and ethical political engagement
