Classification

Status: Full Time, Benefit Eligible
Compensation: $75k-$90k annually
Reports To: Chief Finance Officer
Schedule: Regular Office Hours, with occasional after-hours support for critical system issues
Essential Duties
- Manage Systems and Integrations
- Serve as administrator and technical owner for core business systems, including ERP, ecommerce, warehouse management, and EDI platforms
- Build, monitor, and maintain the integrations and automations that move orders, inventory, and data between systems
- Set up and maintain EDI connections with wholesale trading partners
- Troubleshoot integration and data errors, identify root causes, and implement fixes that prevent repeat issues
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, integrations, and support procedures
- Support Infrastructure and Users
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, devices, printers, and user accounts
- Install and maintain network equipment and connectivity across all locations
- Maintain security, access controls, and data backup practices
- Provide technical support and training to employees
- Manage technology vendors, support contracts, and renewals
- Improve Business Technology
- Partner with teams to identify manual processes and recommend technology solutions
- Lead or support new system implementations and upgrades
- Coordinate with Snow Peak Japan on shared systems and global technology projects
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience
- 5 years related work experience in IT, systems administration, or systems integration
- Experience supporting ERP, ecommerce, warehouse management, and EDI platforms; SAP Business ByDesign, Shopify, Celigo, ShipHero, and SPS Commerce preferred
- Skills
- Working knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, including token-based authentication
- Working knowledge of JSON, XML, and EDI data formats
- Intermediate SQL for querying, analyzing, and reconciling data across systems
- Scripting or automation experience, such as JavaScript, Visual Basic, or Power Automate
- Fundamental ability to troubleshoot PCs, devices, and networks
- Japanese language proficiency preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Abilities
- Ability to explain technical issues in plain language to non-technical teams
- Ability to learn and document inherited systems before making changes
- Superior time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent, time-sensitive priorities
