About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to support our directional drilling operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting drilling equipment, support vehicles, and materials to and from job sites.
Travel is required. Candidates must be flexible with overnight stays and multi-day projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles including tractor-trailers, equipment trailers, and support trucks.
- Transport drilling rigs, vac trucks, and other heavy equipment to job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs.
- Secure all loads properly and ensure equipment is transported safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of all company vehicles.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members regarding travel and delivery schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with ongoing DOT drug testing requirements.
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to following procedures.
- Willingness and ability to travel for overnight and multi-day projects.
- Professional references will be required and will be checked.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads.
- Experience in construction or utility industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Current OSHA 10 certification.
- Familiarity with directional drilling equipment.
