Junior Accountant (Alpharetta, GA)

Leverage advanced knowledge of business analytics and will be responsible for analyzing the financial activities and financial performance of the Company to ensure it follows all business and financial compliance requirements and remains a financially solvent organization. Specific duties will include:

·         Assist in the management and oversight of all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, monthly Account Reconciliation, ensuring alignment with GAAP and organizational standards.

·         Support the month-end and quarter-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

·         Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams across different geographic locations to streamline business analytics and accounting processes and support the international close process.

·         Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

·         Assist in developing and enforcing business analytics and financial policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.

·         Monitor and analyze corporate expenditures and budgets, provide variance analysis, and support the implementation of financial reporting systems to improve forecasting and financial planning.

·         Provide regular financial analysis and reporting, contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·         Stay up to date with corporate analytics and accounting standards, legislation, and best practices, and ensure the Company’s financial activities are in full compliance.

May telecommute up to 50 % of the workweek from any U.S. Location.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or closely related quantitative field, plus two (2) years of experience performing financial analysis and accounting services. Experience, which may be gained prior to, during, or after degree and concurrently, must include the following:

• 2 years of experience using SAP R3 or SAP ECC.
• 2 years of experience performing consolidated financial statement analysis, including leveraging ERP system financial data to extract, query, and analyze financial datasets from underlying databases.
• 2 years of experience applying data-driven methods to financial reporting, including integrating ERP system data with analytical tools to identify variances, trends, and insights supporting business decision-making.
• Must have passed the Financial Accounting Reporting and Tax Regulations of the Certified Public Accountant examination.
