Position:Team Lead

Qualification: UG / PG from a reputed Institution;Hands on Analytics / spreadsheet knowledge (Google suite)

Employment Type: Full-time, 

                               Overlapping Shift 1: 3 PM - 12 AM IST (Hybrid)

                               Overlapping Shift 2: 6 PM - 3 AM IST (Hybrid)


1. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Data Analysts/Senior Data Analysts, ensuring effective workload allocation and daily operational coverage.
  • Manage day-to-day team operations and ensure delivery against quality, productivity, SLA, and turnaround-time targets.
  • Monitor work queues, prioritize assignments based on volume, complexity, aging, and business impact.
  • Provide guidance and support to analysts in researching, analyzing, validating, and resolving complex data and transaction-related issues.
  • Review complex, high-impact, or escalated cases and ensure appropriate and timely resolution.
  • Perform quality reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve accuracy and reduce errors and rework.
  • Monitor team performance and identify productivity, quality, and process gaps; implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to defined processes, controls, quality standards, and operating procedures.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Act as the first level of escalation for operational, process, and data-related issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, utility providers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and obtain required information.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication of critical issues, risks, and dependencies to the Manager.
  • Track team workload, backlog, aging, productivity, quality, and SLA performance.
  • Prepare and share regular team-level performance reports and operational updates.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members through regular feedback, knowledge-sharing, and performance discussions.
  • Identify skill gaps and support training, cross-training, and knowledge-development initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of processes, resolutions, and knowledge articles.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation and support implementation initiatives.
  • Support the Manager with operational planning, reporting, stakeholder communication, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure business continuity through effective cross-training, knowledge sharing, and workload management.

2. Our Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on operations professional who can effectively manage a team while also providing analytical and operational guidance on complex issues.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8 years of relevant experience in data operations, data quality, analytics, billing/finance operations, or a similar domain.
  • Prior experience in team handling, mentoring, or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
  • Ability to handle complex cases and provide clear direction to team members.
  • Strong understanding of SLA, KPI, quality, productivity, and backlog management.
  • Good stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and make timely operational decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
  • Ability to analyze team performance data and identify actionable improvement opportunities.
  • Experience working with multiple systems, data sources, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage performance issues effectively.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization and automation.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with utility providers or external stakeholders would be an added advantage.
