Rotation: 14 days on/off - Crew change every 2^nd Thursday - 12hr shift

Job Scope: 

o        The majority of the daily activity will occur at the main gate, which is the main access to the Kemess Mine Site.  

o        The security officers will process contractors, visitors and employees each day at the main gate. Processing generally encompasses access control by verifying all persons are signed in and out without exception, confirming orientations have been or will be completed and up to date. Inspecting and searching vehicles to ensure no contraband enters the site and checking all light vehicles entering the site have the necessary equipment to be mine-ready.  

o        Delivery trucks will have their arrival and departure times recorded in the daily activity log, which is maintained by the security officer.   

o        There are other duties from time to time that the security officer is expected to complete, such as recording and responding to encounters within the bear-free zone on the mine property. Issuing and collecting controlled access key sets for various access points around the mine site.
