Job Title:  Project Manager


Location: Hybrid, 2360 Meadowpine Blvd, Mississauga, ON


Hours: Full-time, permanent. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Start Date: Immediate



The Opportunity:


The Project Manager of Curriculum Development supports the success of triOS Education Group, maintaining responsibility for the coordination and completion of projects focused on improving lives through exceptional education experiences. 

 

This role works directly with colleagues from Academic Services and other departments to ensure that project deliverables are completed within the defined scope. The Project Manager also coordinates all teams working on the project to ensure that goals are met on time and that each team’s deliverables are achieved to a consistent standard.



What you'll be doing:

  • Develops project plans based on the best practices of the profession.
  • Defines project scope, goals, deliverables, and required resources.
  • Manages the project’s timeline, budget, and deliverables throughout its lifecycle.
  • Schedules and oversees all curriculum development projects for the triOS Education Group brands.
  • Conducts regular project meetings with colleagues and develops reports on project progress and challenges.
  • Identifies areas of risk and engages relevant managers and other stakeholders for remediation/mitigation.
  • Coordinates and manages project element changes throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Chairs project meetings and distributes minutes to project team members.
  • Evaluates and assesses the results of completed projects.
  • Contributes to departmental process improvements by sharing and implementing best practices


What you bring to the position:

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in project management.
  • Project Management qualification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education in Business or related field.
  • Demonstrable theoretical and practical project management knowledge.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project coordination and scheduling using MS Project or similar system is required. Expert skills in Excel are a strong asset.
  • Experience in successful risk management and/or change management.
  • Sound organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and work independently.
  • Ability to take a “hands on” approach.
  • Ability to deal with important information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability to define and breakdown problems that may arise into manageable parts, identifying root causes of the problems, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats in order to resolve the problem
  • Accountable and responsible for navigating projects from conception through to final delivery with attention to budgets, deadlines, and quality.
