What you will do:
The Contract Review Broker will be primarily responsible for reviewing all contracts and supporting the team of Transaction Analysts in the review of all contracts and ensuring that all documentation is in the file. The Contact Review Broker may also be asked, from time to time, to supervise as a Managing Broker to a Branch Office. This Broker may also be asked to cover the Designated Managing Broker or other Managing Brokers for holidays and sickness coverage. In supporting our agents in the delivery of exceptional real estate brokerage service to their clients, this position will be assisting agents to comply with Provincial license law, along with a focus on the transaction review process, compliance training, and the eXp Risk Management program. This person will have an exceptional track record with Contract Review and as a real estate broker of a small to medium firm. He/She must have a thorough understanding of real estate compliance requirements at a Provincial level, a collaborative approach, and a boundless work ethic. They must be a “people-person” but also possess the ability to implement systems and follow processes.
- Ensures that eXp delivers exceptional brokerage support to agents in their representation of clients and customers
- The Contract Review Broker’s primary focus will be contract review to ensure legal and contractual compliance of transactions
- Conduct contract training to enhance agent’s knowledge and understanding of contract, risk management, licensing, and provincial real estate law
- Promptly respond to agent requests for assistance related to contract reviews and any required communication arising from Contract reviews
- Effectively consult and engage with eXp Realty agents and the Managing Broker in problem solving of matters associated with difficult or complex transaction issues
- Primarily support the Transaction Specialists and agents in the initial review of the Contracts and helping to track down missing paperwork
- This is not an all-inclusive list and other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Operations Manager from time to time
- Responsible for the final archiving of transactions on a quarterly basis
- May be asked to act as a Managing Broker from time to time for our agent centric branch offices
- Your job includes any EXPI entity, in your area, that may be assigned
Technology Leadership & Enablement:
- Each Contract Review Broker at eXp Realty Canada is also accountable for driving technology adoption, agent enablement, and digital innovation aligned to eXp’s agent-centric, cloud-based brokerage model.
Technology Leadership Responsibilities:
- Champion adoption and fluency across eXp’s core platforms (e.g., Skyslope, Slack, CRM of Choice, My eXp etc.).
- Partner with internal tech and training teams to pilot, localize, and operationalize new technology rollouts.
- Monitor province-wide agent adoption metrics, flag friction points, and recommend solutions.
- Provide frontline support to agents and staff on transactions, system navigation, and tech compliance workflows.
Agent & Staff Enablement:
- Lead or co-facilitate provincial training sessions on regulatory updates and new systems.
- Collaborate with national teams to tailor training resources for provincial requirements.
- Maintain a resource library or knowledge base to reduce repetitive agent inquiries.
Innovation & Feedback Loop:
- Liaise between field operations and national tech teams to identify local challenges.
- Participate in innovation pilots (e.g., DocAI testing, automation workflows).
- Share insights on agent satisfaction and tech blockers to inform upgrades and enhancements

How you will grab our attention:
- Holds an active real estate broker license with continuing education credits in real estate, Brokerage management and legal compliance.
- A keen interest in and high level of competence in real estate compliance activities including a deep knowledge and understanding of legal obligations of real estate professionals under both the Provincial and Federal law, Board Level Requirements, Code of Ethics, MLS Rules and Regulations as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the requirements from the provincial real estate regulators.
- Proven successful track record of managing a small to medium brokerage firm, specifically from a compliance and contracts perspective.
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Highly collaborative and capable of working with internal partners to facilitate successful results.
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems using good judgment.
- Skyslope and Webforms experience strongly preferred.
- Possess the highest degree of integrity.
- Licensed as a Managing Broker with the provincial regulator.

- Proficient knowledge of G Suite required; Microsoft Office experience is a bonus
