🎭 Role & Team

Long story short, we're looking to hire an intermediate to senior Full-Stack Software Developer with excellent problem solving skills, proactivity and communication abilities to join our new Lifecycle squad.

You will join a team of 3 other Full-Stack Developers (including a Team Lead), one Product Manager and one QA, all dedicated to solving B2B companies’ biggest challenge: customer implementation.

Your mission will be to master all intricacies of the gaiia product to streamline customer data migrations, build internal tools and custom automation workflows. As a cross-functional squad, Lifecycle is known for their broad technical expertise, holistic product knowledge and frequent department-wide collaborations.

No pressure, but scaling implementations is crucial to gaiia’s success, and the Lifecycle Squad is at the center of it. To succeed on this journey, you will of course rely on a strong, cohesive team that remains laser-focused on this ambitious shared goal.

📽 What is your team working on?

Technically speaking, you will work in a serverless ecosystem of microservices deployed on a cloud infrastructure. gaiia is all-in on Typescript, with frontend, backend and infrastructure-as-code all leveraging Typescript.

  • Own and optimize the data migration process end-to-end.
  • Own the execution of customer migrations on go-live day.
  • Build custom workflows that automate critical customer processes.
  • Develop both internal and in-app tools to massively scale implementations.
  • Become an expert in all aspects of the gaiia product.
  • Collaborate with Feature Squads, and Customer Success to craft the perfect onboarding experience for each customer.

🎖️ Must-haves

  • You have at least three (3) years of experience in Javascript (Typescript is a big advantage).
  • You have experience with SQL databases.
  • You have experience in DevOps and AWS services.
  • You have experience with Node.js.
  • You are process-oriented.
  • You can deal with uncertainty and bring order to fuzzy challenges.
  • You have an outgoing and collaborative personality, eager to work with different stakeholders to solve complex problems.
  • You have a strong product mindset.

🪄 Nice-to-haves

  • You have experience with GraphQL.
  • You have experience with the React framework.
  • You have a good understanding of networking concepts.
  • You have an interest or expertise in functional programming.
  • You have several personal projects exhibiting good coding skills
  • You have strong analytical thinking, proactivity and learning speed.

💰Salary

At gaiia, we have a transparent salary philosophy and a robust evaluation and compensation framework. It translates to a fair and impartial model where salaries are published internally, healthy discussions around compensation and performance can exist, and taboos are removed.

The salary range for this role is 85,000-170,000$.
