šŸ¤— About gaiia

At gaiia, we're building the leading platform for Communications Service Providers (CSPs) that truly care about their customers. Our core product is an operating system (OS) for telcos that manages billing, operations, automation and everything in between.

We offer competitive pay and benefits, flexible vacation, attractive stock options, unparalleled transparency, and a 100% remote environment. We're excited to have you join us for your next career adventure!

šŸŽ Role & Team

WARNING: If you don’t like to 1) talk to customers every single week and 2) deeply understand their reality, please don’t apply. This job is not for you.

As a product manager working on gaiia, you will be responsible for the product vision of specific modules of the software. Together with your squad members, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and understanding issues affecting the product and its users, in addition to researching and proposing the best solutions to address these issues. You will also collaborate daily with your tight-knit squad, composed of a tech lead, full-stack developers, a product designer and a QA. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow product managers and product designers from other squads.

In this role, your main focus will be to empower our customers with the necessary tooling to automate their jobs and processes with workflows. You will familiarize yourself with their daily operations, understand their global digital ecosystem and identify opportunity for automation, integrations and orchestration. Engaging in technical discussions with customers will be vital as you explore potential third-party integrations and anticipate their needs to enhance gaiia’s offerings. Users of the gaiia workflows are internal too — all squads are leveraging workflows to execute long-running jobs and processes, so you’ll need to understand their needs. You will have two types of customers to answer to: our customers (CSPs) and our lifecycle squad.

The Workflow Module

You will lead the Workflows module, which allows CSPs to create, launch, edit and monitor their own custom workflows. With this module, in combination with integrations, we aim to make gaiia the centerpiece of our customer’s digital ecosystem by orchestrating and automating tasks across apps and systems.

What You’re Going to Do

  • Collaboratively define the product strategy with your squad, stakeholders, and leadership team.
  • Identify, research, and prioritize tasks for your team.
  • Use data, market research, and user interviews to become an expert in your focus area.
  • Ensure your team consistently tackles the most important items by managing the backlog.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and ensuring clear communication of priorities and timelines to all stakeholders.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of the product strategy, ensuring it meets customer needs and market demands while achieving business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to launch product features, from internal initiation to full Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Understand the implications of your team's engineering decisions and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Dive deep into customer network operations to identify areas for increasing efficiency.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers to understand their unique challenges and requirements.
  • Explore potential third-party integrations that align with customer needs and enhance gaiia’s offerings.
