WHAT YOU’LL DO 


As the National Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and scaling a national blitz salesforce to deliver rapid distribution, retail activations, and account growth. You will oversee the achievement of ambitious goals including 3,000 net new doors and $4M in incremental revenue by FY-2026. 


This role serves as the in-field sales leader supporting multiple regional teams and distributor relationships. Works in close partnership with the Field Sales Operations team to drive performance, accountability, and retail growth. You will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Distributor teams to ensure successful program launches and maintain compliance. A critical part of your work will include conducting ride-alongs and in-field training, creating, and maintaining reports for the executive team. You will also play an integral role in incentive program revisions, sales team communication plans, co-op program pilots, and standardized training development to build consistency and excellence across the organization.


WHO YOU ARE


A field sales pro with 5+ years of experience leading field sales teams with the ability to hit the ground running, scaling reps and delivering results fast.


A DSD Insider — You have a deep understanding of direct service distribution, how to collaborate with reps, and what it takes to get products moving off the shelf.


A C-store Expert – You are experienced in leading outside sales teams in convenience, smoke shops, or similar categories. 


Revenue Driver — Budgets, profit, and ROI aren’t just numbers to you; you know how to make them move in the right direction while keeping a clear eye on the bottom line.


Field‑Driven and Hands‑On — Equally comfortable crafting polished reports for senior leadership or jumping in a car for a sales ride‑along.


Talent Builder — You can spot raw potential, hire the right people, coach them up, and make tough calls when it’s time.


Road Warrior — 50–75% travel doesn’t scare you; you know impact happens face‑to‑face in the field.


Tech‑Forward Operator — CRM, dashboards, remote tools, routing software — you use them to keep the team sharp, accountable, and moving fast.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Build and lead a high-velocity regional blitz salesforce — including 6–8 Team Leads and 50–80 Blitz Reps.


Develop and scale regional field sales teams across multiple markets, driving execution, accountability, and sales performance in partnership with the Field Sales Operations team. 


Travel frequently to support kickoffs, blitz campaigns, and distributor alignment in new markets.


Conduct daily and weekly field meetings, ride-alongs, and in-person coaching sessions to build skills, reinforce culture, and model best practices.


Recruit, train, and manage sales team leads and field reps maintaining high standards for performance and readiness. 


Partner with distributors and channel partners to align on sales targets, activations, long-term retention strategies, promotional plans, and territory performance.


Oversee incentive programs and recognition initiatives that reinforce accountability and high performance.


Enforce blitz SOPs, CRM compliance, KPI dashboards, and accurate forecasting.


Foster a high-energy, ownership-driven culture built on accountability, coaching, and field excellence.



WORK STYLE & TRAVEL


Primarily remote field-based; self‑schedule and prioritize in‑market leadership to close deals and service key accounts. Expect 50-75% travel across assigned states. To support regional expansion, you must be able to travel on short notice.

 

COMPENSATION


A competitive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus/commission plan based on performance and revenue. In this role you will contribute directly to a highly lucrative exit and will be rewarded generously as a result. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role.
