Role Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing and Customer Acquisition Manager will oversee all marketing assets and communications for Journeys by Van Dyke. You’ll lead customer acquisition strategies, craft impactful campaigns, and ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities


Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Design and execute sales campaigns that align with company goals.
  • Develop strategies to maximize customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • Create and oversee strategic engagement initiatives that integrate all communication channels (digital, email, print, etc.) to drive engagement and achieve business objectives.


Content Creation & Management

  • Organize and create promotional materials, including, but not limited to:
  • Seasonal brochures
  • Newsletters via Mailchimp
  • Social media posts and ad graphics
  • Detailed itineraries and journey one-pagers
  • Elevate the brand’s visual identity through compelling and creative content.


Customer Insights & Optimization

  • Define clear KPIs, measure results, and adapt strategies to optimize customer engagement.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify actionable improvements.
  • Monitor and refine the customer experience across various channels to increase satisfaction and engagement.


Digital Advertising & Analytics

  • Manage and analyze campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Business Manager platforms.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize ROI.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years of experience in applied marketing.
  • Proficiency in creative tools like Mailchimp and Adobe Suite (required); experience with Zapier and Wordpress is a plus.
  • Experience managing and analyzing Google Ads and Meta Business Manager campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills in English (native-level fluency), French is an asset.
