The Role


As a Lead Content Designer, you’ll shape the future of Neo’s writing. You’ll bring a deep expertise in writing along with strategic thinking to guide content across teams and throughout the customer journey.


Combining a product and marketing mindset, you’ll be comfortable weaving narratives across experiences. You’ll seek opportunities to use your background in writing and UX design to solve core cross-functional challenges.


What you'll be doing:

  • Craft, edit, and test writing to create engaging and clear content across the suite of digital financial products.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to improve consistency, delivery, and execution of UX writing.
  • Develop and own content strategies in partnership with Product Marketing and Brand. 
  • Advocate for writing excellence across Neo and seek out ways to scale content.
  • Work with Localization to streamline the steps to localize content and ensure content is effectively localized. 
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure content is responsibly prepared.
  • Use data, user testing, and research to shape and validate your work.
  • Advocate for inclusivity and accessibility, crafting delightful content and experiences for various audiences.
  • Improve the Content Design practice and mentor writers.
  • Change context quickly and easily to adapt to evolving priorities.

Who we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of Content Design, UX Writing, or related experience writing content for digital products
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional product environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Financial technology or banking experience is a bonus
  • A portfolio of samples that demonstrate your skill and efficacy as a writer
