About the role

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide supervision, training, and support to the clinical staff under the direction of the Manager of Partnerships and Operations. You will also manage a small caseload, demonstrating excellence in clinical practice. This full time, permanent position requires flexibility, including occasional evenings.

What you'll do


Supervisory:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff
  • Provide orientation, regular supervision, and ongoing evaluation to clinical staff
  • Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional conduct within the team


Clinical:

  • Conduct assessments, case management, and supportive counselling.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of clinical work, including case notes and reports.


Organizational Support and Administration

  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with community groups, agency teams and all PAARC employees
  • Participate in meetings and committees as required and assist in program and organizational planning
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations to the community.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in the not for profit sector, with extensive clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of substance use philosophies, with strong skills in crisis management and case management.
  • Superior command of English and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the community as needed.


Working Conditions

  • Office environment and community-based settings.
  • 35-hour work week; Mon to Fri 8:30 am- 4:30 pm with one evening per week (12:30pm - 8:00pm) with the expectation of additional hours outside of the standard work week as required
  • The majority of the work will be located in Mississauga, with some travel to Brampton and Caledon

The pay range for this role is:

66,681 - 72,864 CAD per year (Dixie Road)
