SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst II will take an active role in managing a portfolio of projects across various asset types and strategies. The role involves developing detailed knowledge of assets and providing ongoing financial analysis and operational support, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technology to drive data-driven decisions and improve portfolio operations. This role will also support the Finance Manager in capital management and analysis.
This position requires a strong foundation in real estate finance, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the portfolio’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and self-motivated, with strong financial modeling, communication, and writing skills. The role offers exposure to multiple facets of real estate finance and the chance to make meaningful contributions to the team’s strategic and operational initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Projections & Reporting
o Complete semi-annual forecast updates on deals, including operating, debt and equity cash flows.
o Provide projections and analysis related to new leasing & financing
o Analyze Argus models for various asset types
o Support the reporting of actual and pro-forma performance of each deal
o Research and resolve issues related to financial performance
o Assist with preparing various internal and external reports
o Support semi-annual portfolio valuation
Equity Management
o Review and analyze each deal-level projected cash flow, using financial models and reporting
o Recommend contributions and/or distributions to investors
o Understand and ensure adherence to fee structure on each deal
o Update and maintain accurate waterfall models for various equity structures
o Provide investor administration support, including the delivery of capital calls, distribution notices, and investor reporting
Debt Management
o Oversee timely and efficient construction loan draws to maximize proceeds
o Ensure full compliance with all loan agreements and analyze proforma covenant compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Interest and/or experience in private equity
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis environment; mortgage or
Commercial Real Estate industry is preferred.
Skilled at financial modeling in MS Excel:
Build meaningful and actionable graphic summaries
Experience with loan and partnership agreements
Ability to prepare concise and informative written presentations in MS Word, MS Power Point
Working knowledge of Argus (RCS will enroll new analysts for certification course if needed)
Detail oriented

The pay range for this role is:
90,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Louisville)
