About the role

We are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician 1 to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Miner Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting Bitcoin miners. This on-site position will directly support our miner maintenance operations at our Rockdale, TX location.  

Essential Functions

• Perform basic diagnostic techniques to all miners on-site.
• Perform basic repair techniques to all miners on-site.
• Assist in keeping inventory of miners, parts, and tools.
• Find IP addresses of all new machines that are being installed into shelves.
• Provide complete information for work orders to be submitted to supervisor.
• Keep the miner repair room and work area clean and organized.
• Craft new RJ-45 connections.
• Be confident when reciting terminology that is relevant in the industry. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to bring attention clearly and promptly to any major errors in the Data Center that involve the Miner Maintenance team.

Education and Experience 

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• Experience with Networking and Computer troubleshooting is preferred.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Miner repair/Operator Certifications are a plus. 
• On-the-job training and development is provided. 

Schedule

• 12 hour shift. 
• Day Shift
• Holidays. 
• Weekends as needed.
