RemoteLegalStaff

Sales Manager

RemoteLegalStaff exists because there are incredibly talented legal professionals all over the world who've never had a shot at the U.S. legal market. We place and fully manage remote legal staff for U.S. law firms, hiring from Latin America, the Philippines, South Africa, and beyond.

We're growing fast, and we don't just place people and disappear. We train them, manage them, go to bat for them, and help them build real careers.

Our internal team is the engine behind all of it. You won't be a cog here. You'll be the reason someone on the other side of the world lands an opportunity that changes their trajectory.

About the role

We are hiring our first Sales Manager: a hands-on leader who will own the performance and growth of our existing sales team of Account Executives and SDRs, while continuing to actively close strategic deals and implement strategic growth plans across the company.

This is a player-coach role with a 1–2 year strategic horizon: you will be expected to refine our playbook, sharpen our outbound and inbound motions, and build the foundation for our next phase of sales growth. You will report directly to the CEO and work fully remote on U.S. business hours (PST)

What you'll do & What you'll own

  • Team leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the team, manage 1:1s, deal reviews, and weekly forecast/pipeline calls. Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement. Define what 'great' looks like and raise the team's bar.
  • Active selling: Personally own a portfolio of strategic / higher-value deals. Demonstrate excellence in discovery, objection handling, and closing: model the behaviors you expect from the team.
  • Pipeline and forecasting: Maintain pipeline hygiene in our CRM; own accurate weekly forecasts, and report KPIs to leadership.
  • Playbook and process: Refine and document our sales motions across outbound and inbound. Identify gaps and ship improvements.
  • Short-term strategy: Translate revenue targets into territory plans, ICP refinements, and segment-level priorities for the next 12–24 months.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Marketing on lead quality, Operations on client delivery handoffs, and People & Culture for training and performance management.

What we're looking for as a must

  • A builder-operator who loves the day-to-day of selling AND the work of growing other sellers.
  • A person who thrives in fast-moving environments, who's obsessed with pipeline hygiene.
  • Someone who treats US law firm owners as peers: confident, polished and consultative.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of consistent quota attainment. Professional services background strongly preferred (staffing, consulting, legal services, financial services, agency, etc.).
  • 2+ years of people management experience managing salespeople, with documented results.
  • C2 / native-level English — written and spoken.
  • You will sell directly to U.S. partners: communication must be polished and accent-neutral.
  • Hands-on CRM proficiency: pipeline reporting, forecasting, sequence/automation setup, and dashboard ownership.
  • Full availability on U.S. business hours, usually starting between 6 AM and 8 AM PST.
  • It would also be great if you:
    • Have direct experience selling to a law firm or legal services
    • Have experience selling remote staffing, BPO, or outsourcing services
    • Have experience scaling sales teams
    • Have experience with various CRMs and Sales tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.

What success looks like

  • Built a ,deep understanding of our team, pipeline, and U.S. law firm buyer through hands-on shadowing, running your own discovery calls, and a current-state diagnostic shared with leadership.
  • Installed a tight weekly operating cadence: 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and a forecast that leadership trusts within a tight margin of accuracy.
  • Personally closed deals, modeling the standard you expect from the team, not just managing it.
  • Moved team performance metrics in a measurable direction.

What we offer

  • Fully remote position with a flexible work schedule
  • Competitive base salary plus incentives
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Anniversary loyalty bonuses
  • Company-sponsored health insurance

  • Clear path to growth: Wea promote from within and reward people who perform
