Speer Technologies is a dynamic technology company with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and New York. We partner with ambitious organizations to design and build software, digital products, platforms, and intellectual property across industries including healthcare, real estate, hardware, financial services, entertainment, government, and nonprofit. What makes Speer different is our approach to invention. We help clients create new revenue streams, strengthen market defensibility, and build technology that is differentiated, commercially meaningful, and built for long-term growth.
We are entering our next stage of growth. Speer has grown through a strong founder-led sales model, consistent year-over-year revenue growth, and a clear ability to deliver high-impact technology. Now, we are investing in a more scalable marketing and revenue engine that can help us clarify our identity, generate qualified opportunities, and build repeatable growth channels.
Speer Technologies is seeking a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Marketing Manager to help define and scale our marketing function. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, balancing remote flexibility with regular in-office attendance to support meetings, coordination, and team collaboration.
This role is ideal for someone who understands B2B marketing, positioning, demand generation, campaign strategy, content creation, social media, and full-funnel performance. You will work closely with leadership, sales, design, and delivery teams to translate Speer’s work, capabilities, client outcomes, and intellectual property experience into clear messaging and revenue-generating campaigns. We are not looking for someone focused only on impressions, clicks, or surface-level metrics. We are looking for someone who can assess real market signals, test ideas quickly, refine messaging, create compelling content, build effective social media campaigns, and turn marketing activity into qualified inbound leads, pipeline, and revenue outcomes.
Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine Speer’s market positioning, core messaging, value proposition, and campaign narratives across priority industries and customer segments.
Audience & ICP Development: Define Ideal Customer Profiles, buyer personas, decision drivers, pain points, and buying triggers for enterprise, scale-up, and innovation-led organizations.
Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, Google, email, content, webinars, events, landing pages, and social media. Build campaigns that generate qualified inbound interest and move prospects through the funnel.
Content Creation: Create and support marketing content across formats, including social posts, blogs, case studies, landing pages, email campaigns, event materials, sales enablement assets, and thought leadership content that supports inbound lead generation.
Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization: Build and optimize funnels from channel to landing page, lead magnet, sales handoff, proposal, and close.
Social Media & Inbound Growth: Develop and manage social media campaigns that strengthen Speer’s market presence, communicate our expertise, promote events and thought leadership, and generate qualified inbound leads.
Creative Direction: Develop campaign concepts, messaging variations, creative briefs, content themes, landing page copy, lead magnets, and sales enablement materials.
Market & Competitor Research: Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify positioning gaps, growth opportunities, and areas where Speer has a clear right to win.
Testing & Reporting: Establish testing frameworks across messaging, creative, audiences, offers, and channels. Track performance from click to lead, lead to meeting, meeting to proposal, and proposal to close.
Sales Enablement: Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to improve lead quality, strengthen pitch materials, develop case studies, and support conversion across the buyer journey.
Revenue Impact: Focus on qualified pipeline, conversion rates, meetings booked, proposals created, and revenue influenced by marketing.
Growth Opportunities: Help shape Speer’s marketing function at a pivotal stage of company growth.
High-Impact Role: Build campaigns and systems that directly influence qualified pipeline and revenue.
Dynamic Environment: Work across industries, technologies, and customer segments with a team that moves quickly.
Innovation: Be part of a company focused on building differentiated technology, scalable platforms, and meaningful client outcomes.
High Standards: Join a team that values clear thinking, direct communication, attention to detail, and measurable results.
