About the role
The Claims & Group Benefits Specialist plays a crucial role on the Client Enablement Team at Sterling Capital Brokers as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Client Enablement Team is responsible for providing services to the clients of Sterling Capital as it pertains to disability claims, leave of absence services, and other complex cases. This role will specifically handle complex claims inquiries and disability claim submissions and play a pivotal role in managing and facilitating the claims process for SCB Clients. This role will have joint responsibilities as a Subject Matter Expert in group benefits and claiming procedures. In this capacity the position will support upskilling the Client Services team and their peers on the enablement team. This role will report into the Associate VP, Group Benefits and work side-by- side with our experienced team of representatives. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to our dynamic and collaborative team.
As we operate across Canada, this is a fully remote position.
