Enterprise Sales Manager — Commercial & Institutional Accounts

About SwimOutlet.com

SwimOutlet.com is one of the largest online specialty retailers for swimming, aquatics, and the beach lifestyle in North America. We supply everything from competitive swimwear and goggles to lifeguard and rescue equipment, deck gear, and aquatic fitness essentials. Beyond individual athletes and families, we partner with the organizations that run the water: parks, pools, patrols, and programs that need reliable gear at scale.

We're building out our enterprise sales function to deepen those partnerships — and we're looking for someone who can own it.

The Role

We're hiring an Enterprise Sales Manager to develop and close large, high-value accounts across the commercial and institutional aquatics space. Your customers won't be one-off shoppers — they'll be water parks, lifeguard and beach-patrol organizations, fitness and health-club chains, municipal aquatic centers, universities, and multi-location swim schools.

In this role you'll open new enterprise accounts, negotiate volume and program-level agreements, and grow those relationships into long-term, recurring business. You'll be the face of SwimOutlet to some of our most important buyers, and you'll work cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and customer service to make sure we deliver on what you sell.

The position is fully remote, with travel for key accounts, site visits, and industry events.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close — for large commercial and institutional accounts.
  • Build a targeted pipeline across priority segments: water parks and aquatic attractions, lifeguard/beach-patrol and rescue organizations, fitness and health-club chains, municipalities and parks & rec departments, colleges/universities, and multi-site swim schools.
  • Land and expand key accounts, turning initial orders into program-level agreements, seasonal reorders, and multi-location rollouts.
  • Negotiate pricing, volume tiers, and contract terms that win the business while protecting margin.
  • Serve as the strategic point of contact for enterprise clients, understanding their operational needs (staffing cycles, safety requirements, seasonal demand) and matching them to the right product programs.
  • Partner internally with merchandising and vendors on assortment, bulk availability, and custom/branded gear; with operations on fulfillment timelines; and with customer service on account support.
  • Represent SwimOutlet at trade shows and industry events (e.g., aquatics, parks & rec, and fitness industry gatherings) to generate leads and build the brand.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain clean, up-to-date records in the CRM, reporting on pipeline, wins, and account health.
  • Hit and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and account-growth targets.

Who You Are

  • Experience selling to one or more of our target segments: aquatics/recreation, hospitality and resorts, fitness/health clubs, municipal or parks & rec, education, or safety/rescue equipment.
  • Familiarity with the swim, aquatics, or sporting-goods industry and its seasonal buying patterns.
  • Experience selling programs, uniforms/team gear, or equipment at volume (vs. single transactions).
  • History of building an enterprise book of business from an early or ground-floor stage.
  • 4+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience with a track record of closing large, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Demonstrated success owning a full sales cycle and consistently meeting or beating quota.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative-selling skills; comfortable talking pricing, volume, and contracts.
  • Self-directed and disciplined — you can run your own pipeline and manage your time in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; polished and credible in front of senior buyers.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard sales/productivity software.
  • Willingness to travel ~20–30% for client meetings, site visits, and events.

Why You'll Want This Role

  • Own a category. This is a build role — you'll help shape how SwimOutlet sells to enterprises, not just work an existing playbook.
  • Sell products people actually need. Water safety, rescue gear, and aquatics programs matter, and your customers rely on them every season.
  • Remote-first flexibility with the resources of an established retail brand behind you.
  • Competitive base plus commission/bonus structure tied to your results.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus commission / performance bonus.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Generous employee discount on SwimOutlet products.
  • Home-office / remote-work support and covered business travel.
