About the role
The Strategic Client Partner plays a pivotal role in driving digital and commerce transformation for Fortune 500 clients across various industries. This role focuses on aligning business units on a strategic roadmap, expanding opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution. The Strategic Client Partner works closely with senior stakeholders to shape digital strategies, lead cross-functional collaboration, and oversee execution readiness. Additionally, they will mentor and develop future strategy leaders to sustain long-term success within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Roadmap Alignment
- Lead strategic workshops with business units to define and align digital transformation roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech Leads, Project Managers, and Consultants, to ensure strategic initiatives are well-integrated and actionable
- Facilitate ongoing strategy discussions, incorporating market trends and evolving business needs into planning
- Drive alignment across multiple business units to support enterprise-wide digital initiatives
2. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive stakeholders within Fortune 500 organizations
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure continued partnership and business growth
- Guide clients through complex digital transformation challenges, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives
- Proactively engage clients to understand their evolving business needs and drive continuous value
3. Growth & Expansion
- Identify opportunities to expand engagements within existing accounts by establishing relationships with additional business units
- Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and digital strategies that align with client objectives
- Lead discussions on new initiatives and potential digital transformation projects that drive measurable business impact
4. Team Collaboration & Execution Readiness
- Ensure seamless knowledge transfer between strategy and delivery teams to drive executional success
- Act as the bridge between business strategy and technology implementation, ensuring alignment between strategic intent and project execution
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to translate high-level strategies into actionable implementation plans
5. Team Mentoring & Talent Development
- Identify, mentor, and develop junior team members to build the next generation of strategy leaders
- Foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and professional growth
- Guide team members in developing strong client engagement, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in digital strategy, consulting, or client engagement roles, preferably working with global enterprise clients
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide strategic planning initiatives and roadmap development
- Strong relationship management and business development skills, with experience navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and project delivery teams to translate strategy into execution
- Experience mentoring and developing high-potential team members
- Strong facilitation and communication skills for leading C-level discussions, client workshops, and strategic planning sessions
- Strong influencing skills to drive alignment and stakeholder buy-in
