ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, DIGITAL DESIGNER

RALLY is seeking a Digital Designer to join our creative squad and build the visual narratives that move the needle on our country’s biggest, most pressing social issues. In this role, your primary focus will be bringing campaign strategies to life through core digital and social design, creating the compelling assets that drive movements forward. Your work will become the literal face of trailblazing nonprofits, helping them tell stories that inspire action, shift mindsets, and spark real-world progress.

Collaborating with a passionate team of strategists, communicators, and digital specialists, you will build high-impact campaigns from the ground up. You’ll develop and deliver persuasive digital ads and short-form videos to detailed reports and polished presentations. This isn't a place for rigid routines; it’s a fast-paced environment where you’ll adapt creative concepts across multiple formats, iterating quickly to ensure the message hits hard and looks flawless.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Digital & Social Design

  • Create High-Impact Social Media Content: Design thumb-stopping campaign graphics across client accounts, including static posts, carousels, stories, paid social ads, and short-form video.
  • Fuel Social Campaigns: Support recurring social calendars by adapting approved creative concepts into multiple formats while maintaining flawless visual consistency across accounts.
  • Drive Digital Marketing: Craft high-converting digital-first materials, including persuasive digital ads, email graphics, newsletter assets, and landing page visuals.
  • Visual Storytelling: Design content-heavy materials like slide decks, reports, toolkits, and fact sheets, using strong visual hierarchy to turn complex data into clear, readable, and inspiring narratives.
  • Translate Concepts to Design: Transform big-picture campaign strategies into compelling visual solutions that move audiences to action.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of design, social media, and emerging technology trends, including AI design tools, to bring fresh inspiration to team brainstorms.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Own Your Workflow: Proactively manage your design queue across concurrent client accounts and internal projects, communicating timelines and bringing creative solutions to project blockers.
  • Collaborate and Iterate: Partner closely with creative leads and cross-functional teams to refine design assets based on internal and client feedback.
  • Engage with Clients: Participate in client meetings and design presentations with professionalism, curiosity, and an adaptable mindset.
  • Supporting & Stretch Opportunities
  • Shape the Web: Flex your UI/UX skills by contributing to website designs, including wireframes, user interface mockups, and web assets.
  • Production & Accessibility: Prepare flawless visual assets for print and digital production, executing file optimization, quality control, and digital accessibility (ADA) checks.
  • Contribute to Brand Building: Support the birth of new campaigns and brand identities through moodboards, visual research, color exploration, and logo treatments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience 

  • Proven Design Experience: You bring 3–5 years of professional digital design experience (whether from an agency, in-house team, freelance practice, or nonprofit/mission-driven setting).
  • A Dynamic Portfolio: Your work demonstrates rock-solid design fundamentals, impeccable attention to detail, strong visual storytelling, and versatility across social media, digital ads, and campaign presentations.
  • The Creative Tech Stack: You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and Google Workspace (especially Google Slides). Comfort with basic video editing tools like CapCut is highly valued.
  • Social Media Fluency: You have a working knowledge  of what performs best on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and LinkedIn, with the ability to create engaging platform-specific content—including light copywriting and quick video edits.

Collaboration & Execution

  • An Iterative, Proactive Mindset: You are a true self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, feedback-heavy environment. You take direction with ease, iterate quickly, anticipate project needs, and confidently propose solutions.
  • Articulate Communication: You possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain the strategic thinking behind your design choices and navigate feedback with professionalism.
  • Complex-to-Creative Translator: You have a unique knack for taking complex social issues and distilling them into highly engaging, accessible digital content that moves audiences.
  • Flawless Project Management: You boast top-tier organizational skills, allowing you to seamlessly balance multiple concurrent projects and maintain accurate time-tracking across client accounts.

RALLY is a hybrid workplace. Team members are expected to work on-site two days per week to foster collaboration and connection, with flexibility on other days.

Compensation and Timeline: This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $32–$34 per hour, commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted through July 10, 2026. Following that date, we will begin reviewing submissions and advancing qualified candidates through the selection process.
