About the role

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a full-time Senior Insurance Consultant reporting to the Operations Manager in our Athens office. The ideal candidate will use their analytical and detail-oriented skills to collect, process and input loan transaction data into Advocate’s proprietary database software engine.

The monthly gross salary for the position is up to 2,000 (on a 14-months basis). 

What you'll do

  • Lead the daily execution of our Insurance Compliance Loan review system, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of documents (incoming via email), extract and input information into Advocate’s proprietary system with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

  • Communicate via email and phone with borrowers and lenders to identify and resolve coverage gaps, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Associates to ensure timely processing of all documents and resolution of queries within the customers’ service level agreement.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior consultants, helping them manage complex loan reviews and ensuring they are escalated appropriately.

  • Contribute to Advocate’s product development by providing detailed feedback based on daily operations and customer interactions.

  • Lead and participate in operational and ad-hoc projects, demonstrating strong project management and leadership skills.

What you need for the role

  • Extensive experience within the insurance industry, with a strong background in core insurance business functions such as operations, underwriting, product development, business, or investments.

  • Exceptional English proficiency, with outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Advanced computer knowledge/tech savviness, with solid experience using Google and Office Suites.

  • Proven ability to work remotely while developing and maintaining strong on-site relationships.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, aligning with US office hours.

  • Superior analytical skills and keen attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to summarize and communicate complex information effectively.
