About the Role
Advocate Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and technically inclined Product Operations Analyst to support the implementation and maintenance of lender-specific insurance review programs on our platform. This role is ideal for someone with a background in insurance operations who is interested in transitioning into a product-adjacent function. The Product Operations Analyst will work under close supervision and with structured guidance, gaining exposure to system configuration, data management, and AI model optimization.
The role is central to the accurate execution of automated and manual insurance compliance workflows. You will help manage operational system settings, configure lender programs, and contribute directly to the training and performance of our AI-powered document extraction engine, Reducto.
Key Responsibilities
- Lender Program Configuration: Build and maintain lender-specific insurance review programs within the Advocate platform by translating loan agreement requirements and investor guidelines into structured rules and checklists.
- AI Training and Oversight (Reducto): Review extracted data from insurance policies processed by Reducto. Label, validate, and curate document inputs to improve model precision and reduce manual exception handling.
- System Data Management: Maintain and update lender-related system data, including:
- Mortgagee clause templates
- Contact and notification routing details
- Program-specific instructions and compliance criteria
- New lender and account configuration
- Operational Accuracy Auditing: Perform periodic audits of existing lender programs and system data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with current investor standards and client expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Insurance Operations Team and Client Solutions Team to ensure that program logic and system settings support efficient and compliant review workflows.
- Documentation and Testing: Assist with internal documentation of workflows and participate in testing of new platform features or operational tools relevant to your scope.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Insurance Operations role, preferably in commercial property insurance, compliance, or agency lending environments.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret insurance policy language and structured compliance checklists.
- A natural proclivity for complex logical thinking and the ability to distill nuanced requirements into binary outcomes (compliant/non-compliant).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and logic configuration.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with structured systems such as CRM platforms, policy review tools, or internal workflow management software.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to document logic and processes clearly.
