Advocate Technologies is an insurance technology company providing modern insurance operations for lenders. Advocate was founded in October 2020 by a world class team based in New York and Athens Greece. In the last year Advocate has grown revenues 350%+, crossed 60 team members, and continues to expand quickly. 


Our proprietary insurance decisioning engine and software platform powers our Automated Advisor. Our Automated Advisor is used by Insurance Risk Managers at Lenders to efficiently assess insurance requirements and review borrower insurance policies against these requirements.  


We currently work with commercial real estate lenders that originate and service loans of all sizes ($100K+ - $200M).

About the role 


As our second Product Manager you will influence all our product lines and work directly with our CEO and CTO. We are looking for someone who is excited about solving challenging problems in incredibly complicated markets. We are disrupting the core of the insurance industry, insurance knowledge itself, and need a PM ready to master the details of our industry. 

You will work closely with our operations teams to understand their challenges and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaboration with the CEO, Product, Design and Engineering will also be a key part of your role, ensuring alignment and synergy across our global operations.


What you will be working on 


  • Day one, to learn our platform, you will be responsible for building and enhancing our product documentation for users. Upon completion you will be responsible for handing off the documentation process to another colleague. 

  • Partner with internal operations teams to identify pain points and opportunities for process improvements. 

  • Develop and implement product strategies that streamline operations and increase efficiency. 

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. 

  • Define and execute the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on operational feedback, market research, and business objectives. 

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope. 

  • Analyze and interpret product performance data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders, including senior executives, ensuring transparency and alignment. 

  • Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging insights to create products that solve real problems and enhance user experiences. 


Requirements 


  • 2-4 years of experience in product management, preferably within B2B SaaS environments, or systems that have complex business logic. 

  • Strong understanding of technology and product architecture, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. 1-2 years of engineering or design experience will be a plus. 

  • Track record of delivering impactful products through effective cross-functional collaboration and strong communication skills. 

  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to create products that enhance user experiences. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. 

  • Joining our merry band, expect to travel to Greece every two months.
