Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Technical Program Manager - Security  to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. 


What You’ll Do:

Program Management:

  • Develop and manage the roadmap for security programs, aligning them with business objectives and security strategy.

  • Break down security programs into actionable plans with clear milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Manage project dependencies and ensure timely delivery of security initiatives.

  • Track program progress, identify risks and roadblocks, and implement corrective actions.

  • Oversee the budget for security programs and initiatives.

  • Foster collaboration between security, engineering, product, and other stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST CSF).

  • Stay updated on evolving security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with security engineers to define and implement security requirements for applications and infrastructure.

  • Work with developers to integrate security best practices throughout the SDLC.

  • Drive the adoption of security tools and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security processes.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate security risks, policies, and procedures effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Partner with security engineers and stakeholders to develop and implement security training programs.

  • Facilitate communication between security and other departments to ensure a holistic security approach.

  • Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations on security program progress and key metrics.

Metrics and Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security programs.

  • Analyze security metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future program direction.

  • Regularly report on security program progress and KPI measurements to stakeholders.


What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical role, with at least 3 years in security or a related field.

  • Proven experience in program management, including project planning, execution, and risk management.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience with security tools and automation is a plus.
