About the role:

As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Arkeus, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge AI models for real-time, edge-based applications. You will be responsible for designing scalable ML architectures, building reusable training pipelines, and optimizing models for compute-constrained environments.

In this leadership role, you will mentor a small team of engineers, guiding them through technical challenges and ensuring best practices in ML development. About you:

• A visionary ML Architect with a strong foundation in designing scalable and efficient machine learning models.
• Passionate about building and enhancing custom AI architectures to solve real-world challenges.
• Experienced in leading and mentoring engineering teams, fostering technical excellence, and driving innovation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of machine learning engineers, guiding them in developing robust AI solutions.
• Design and implement ML models tailored for Arkeus products, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy benchmarks.
• Develop reusable data and training pipelines in Python, optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
• Evaluate, select, and advocate for the best ML architectures, addressing unique challenges in real-time AI on the edge.

Your Experience and Skills:

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong ability to analyze and implement research papers, translating cutting-edge research into practical applications.
• Industry expertise in ML, with a demonstrated ability to step into a leadership role and drive technical strategy.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in designing scalable and maintainable ML solutions.
• Expertise in working with compute-constrained environments, optimizing models for real-time and edge applications.
