Atlas’ Finance and Operations team is searching for a diligent working student to support our accounting and finance operations. The role will come with a lot of learning opportunities and ownership in a purpose driven environment. From supporting with day-to-day finance activities to assisting in developing insightful reporting, the role will cover a brought range of activities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Incoming Invoices: Record and review incoming invoices; prepare supplier payments and verify employee reimbursements
  • Handle Accounts Receivable: Create outgoing invoices, record incoming payments, and manage outstanding receivables
  • Improve Processes: Identify and implement process improvements and automation in accounting
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support Reporting: Contribute to monthly steering reports for financial decision-making

Requirements:

  • You must be currently enrolled as student at a university, ideally in the field of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge and an understanding of core financial principles.
  • Good Excel/ Google Sheets skills and ideally initial experiences with accounting software like DATEV or Xero.
  • First experiences with a CRM tool, like HubSpot is a plus.
  • German Native or C1 Level.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and have a high degree of attention to detail.


Location

Strong preference for candidates to work from our Berlin office, spending 3 days per week on-site.
