About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a strong accounting professional skilled in full cycle bookkeeping, budgeting, and forecasting. The role will support general accounting services, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounts payable and receivable management for both our UAE and US entities.

 

Location: UAE or Lebanon (remote)
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports To: CEO and VP of Operations and Chief of Staff
Role: Accountant/Bookkeeper, Global Contractor


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle accounting and general ledger activities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Support budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations in the UAE
  • Support payroll processing and related accounting entries, including commission calculations and processing for the sales team
  • Support invoice creation and manage invoice status tracking/updates, including following up with clients on outstanding invoices
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external parties as needed
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and processes between the US and UAE auxi entities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
  • Prepare and maintain intercompany invoices and related accounting entries for cross-entity transfers
  • Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities on transfer pricing matters as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ Years of Experience
  • Proven experience working with UAE entities
  • Strong understanding of UAE accounting and regulatory requirements, including tax
  • Tax experience required
  • Prior experience with QBO (QuickBooks Online) is a must
  • SaaS experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-entity or multinational environment
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and payroll basics
  • Prior experience with HubSpot
  • Prior experience with Stripe


What We Offer:

  • Position can be based in either the UAE or Lebanon (remote)
  • Salary range: USD 3,000–4,000/month, plus performance-based bonus
