IT Support Technician II

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.  

  

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.


Role Overview 

Provides intermediate technical support for end users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across enterprise IT environments. Supports installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of IT systems while serving as a reliable resource for users and the IT team. Applies technical knowledge to improve system reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do...

  • Provide Tier I and Tier II technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, application, peripheral, and network-related issues 
  • Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment 
  • Assist users with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and enterprise software applications 
  • Support user account management, access requests, and endpoint configuration activities 
  • Troubleshoot and report network issues while partnering with Systems and Infrastructure teams 
  • Provide support for Entra ID, Endpoint Management, and device management technologies 
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and support hardware lifecycle management 
  • Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices within IT knowledge repositories 
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated technical issues and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams 
  • Support remote infrastructure teams with onsite hardware and user support  
  • Assist with IT process improvements, documentation updates, and standardization efforts  
  • Provide timely communication and follow-up to ensure a high level of user satisfaction 

You have... 

Education 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred 

Experience 

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience providing technical support in a corporate IT environment preferred 

Skills & Competencies  

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 technologies  
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and user connectivity issues  
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID, Endpoint Management, and basic networking concepts  
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, MDM solutions, VoIP, and telecommunications technologies  
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly  
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to document processes, procedures, and technical solutions  
  • Strong organization and time management skills  
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with IT team members 
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

Nice to have... 

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other IT-related certifications  
  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or regulated environments  
  • Experience with CAD/CAM/CAE applications such as Ansys, Autodesk, Siemens, or SolidWorks  
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration technologies  
  • Experience with IT asset management and inventory systems  
  • Experience supporting ERP, MES, or manufacturing applications  
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other highly engineered environments  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance  
  • Ability to routinely lift 20–25 lbs and occasionally lift and move 50+ lbs

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $75,000-$92,000 base salary.  Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
