POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a Senior Engineer who's deeply technical, opinionated about frontend quality, and ready to help us build something that lasts. Our CCaaS platform powers omnichannel contact centre experiences — real-time communication interfaces, digital interaction flows, etc. We're in the middle of migrating a legacy frontend to a modern React stack, and we need someone who can lead that change technically, make pragmatic decisions, and help the team level up along the way. This isn't a greenfield project with unlimited time. It's a real migration, on a real product, with real constraints — and we're looking for someone who finds that energising


YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Play a central role in the migration of our legacy frontend to React — defining patterns, setting standards, and building incrementally without breaking what's live.
  • Design and evolve a scalable frontend architecture — component systems, state management, performance patterns, testing strategy — built to grow with the product.
  • Work closely with Product and Design to implement omnichannel UI experiences across voice, chat, email, and other digital channels.
  • Define and enforce frontend engineering standards — code quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
  • Mentor other engineers on React best practices and frontend architecture decisions.
  • Contribute to backend development when required — using Node.js and Nest.js — whether that's building APIs, fixing issues, or unblocking the team. You won't own it, but you're expected to be useful.
  • Actively contribute to technical discussions, challenge scope, and propose better approaches when you see them.
  • Help the team move faster by reducing friction — better tooling, cleaner abstractions, clearer patterns.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • +5-6 years of experience in frontend development, with expertise in React, TypeScript, and Nodejs.
  • Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and modern frontend patterns.
  • Experience with large-scale frontend migrations — you've navigated legacy codebases and come out the other side. A clear, opinionated perspective on what good frontend engineering looks like — and the ability to defend it without being rigid.
  • Solid grasp of web performance, accessibility, and testing (unit, integration, e2e).
  • Working knowledge of Node.js and Nest.js — enough to contribute meaningfully to backend tasks when the team needs it.
  • Comfortable working in an iterative, incremental delivery model — you know how to ship value while keeping technical debt in check.
  • Proactive mindset — you identify problems before they're reported and propose solutions before they're requested.
  • Strong product and design sensitivity, with a mindset for building pixel-perfect UIs that closely match design intent and deliver polished user experiences.
  • Strong communication skills — you can align engineers, PMs, and designers around technical decisions without losing people. Experience working with remote, distributed teams (fluent English required).
