About the role

Building a startup is no easy feat. Let’s be honest - things break on a daily basis. From financial reporting through to running campaigns with our customers. The role of BizOps simply put; find what’s broken across various teams, put it back together again and recognise what you fixed will be broken again in 6 months time!

As a BizOps Associate, you are motivated by finding solutions to these problems. You’d be at the heart of our operations, helping streamline processes and driving efficiency across teams. Your role will involve data & financial analysis, operational support, project management. With a mentality of being happy to “sweep the floors” to see others succeed.

Reporting into the Chief of Staff, you’ll be our first operational hire. Working closely with the executive team and functional leaders, it’s almost guaranteed that you will get to work across multiple parts of the business in a truely x-functional role.


Key responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of business processes to optimise efficiency, with a focus on financial reporting and process.
  • Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth project execution and workflow management.
  • Assist in monitoring key metrics and reporting on performance outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and process inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with leadership on strategic initiatives and business-critical projects.
  • Manage ad hoc projects and support cross-departmental collaboration.

About you

  • 1-2 years of professional experience ideally from a consulting background at a T1 firm. You may also be currently in a financial function of a business, but want to broaden your career scope in a truely cross-functional role.
  • A generalist at heart. Ready to be parachuted into scenarios with little to no context. Utilising first principle thinking to solve challenges quickly and bring the business up to speed.
  • You’re a freak in the spreadsheets. Proficient in excel, sheets or SQL with the ability to structure the unstructured.
  • Baseline understanding of financial metrics and reporting, with a key interest in working with leadership to improve leading and lagging indicators.
  • You’re a succinct communicator, whether in written or verbal form.
  • Strong desire to work across multiple functions of a business and support international growth at an early stage.
