Role Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Applied Engineering team. This role focuses on supporting the development, testing, and implementation of hardware and system-level solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers throughout the product lifecycle, from prototype development to production deployment.

Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, and test electronic prototypes and systems
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and product implementation
- Perform electrical and functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and system integration issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams on debugging and design improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and reports
- Support production, quality, and service teams in resolving technical issues
- Assist in developing and maintaining test setups and equipment
You should have:
Essential
- Technical education (Vocational secondary school degree with Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics profile, or related field)
- 5 Year+ practical experience working with electronic or electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Familiarity with test and measurement tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
- Hands-on skills including soldering (THT/SMT)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- English proficiency sufficient to work with technical documentation
Desirable
- Experience in R&D, testing, or product development environments
- Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols (e.g., UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, RS485, RS 232)
- Familiarity with CAD/ECAD tools, Solid Edge 2025, Altium Designer will be an asset
- Experience with documentation and issue tracking tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Basic understanding of automation or measurement systems
