Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead and scale our Data Products & AI team. You will be responsible for driving the development of advanced AI-driven solutions for applications such as network monitoring, forecasting, and fault prediction.

Reporting to the Data Solutions Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in aligning AI initiatives with business strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and product development, along with a pragmatic mindset focused on delivering high-impact, reliable and scalable solutions with a clear path to implementation.


Key Responsibilities:

· Manage a team of engineers and data scientists in designing and developing AI solutions for network monitoring, forecasting, and fault prediction.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives and strategic priorities.

· Define goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution from concept to implementation.

· Establish clear metrics to evaluate and monitor AI system performance, enabling continuous improvement and model refinement.

· Ensure team objectives and deliverables are aligned with established KPIs and business priorities.

· Allocate team resources effectively to prioritize high-impact features that align with business needs.

· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of growth and skill development.

· Partner with the Data Solutions Manager to integrate AI capabilities into the broader data platform and strategy.

· Stay current with industry advancements in AI, machine learning, and data engineering, and apply relevant innovations to your team’s work.

· Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.

· Communicate technical concepts, progress, and challenges clearly to stakeholders at all levels.


Essential Criteria:

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

· Proven experience managing high-performing engineering or AI/data science teams.

· Strong background in AI/ML development, including supervised and unsupervised learning, time-series forecasting, or anomaly detection.

· Demonstrated success in delivering AI models into product features.

· Solid understanding of data engineering principles and the modern data stack.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.


Desirable:

· 5+ years in data engineering, data science, or machine learning roles.

· Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks, MLFLow or similar.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps, and DataOps practices.
