WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY
Camlin Energy International has an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a Field Projects Engineer role, based within our Customer Delivery regional team.
 
Responsibilities include:
We are seeking to support the continued expansion of our customer base. This person will be responsible to successfully deliver projects in the energy sector substations or power plants and thus ensure optimal progress of the projects with the support of the internal department. 
Description: 
  • Representing Camlin Energy International in a professional manner delivering excellent levels of professional services to fulfil the customers requirements.
  • Documenting, and understanding customer requirements by being direct contact.
  • Liaising with Sales and customer to ensure projects scope and customer specific details are captured prior to initiation.
  • Schedule I&C in line with our availability and customer requirements.
  • Preparing documentation between internal functions and supporting the smooth transition of order to and inclusive of field works.
  • Ensure the document management required for each project.
  • Ensure up to date information for order processing and shipping to enable products to be as requested and detailed.
  • Attending client & Safety meeting on site if necessary and completing site survey information as required.
  • Attending and supporting Field installations as necessary to ensure technical knowledge of products and site activities. 
  • Preparing draft reports outlining progress and deliverables.
  • Follow-up of projects on field until reception by customer.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout and post projects.
  • Support our Field Team or customer in case of technical question.
  • Support the successful delivery of customer / partner training sessions.
  • Support the non-conformance chain of issues within projects, working with technical support to ensure relevant feedback and details are recorded and actioned.
  • Creating Services Quotations.
  • Additional activities commensurate to the role as detailed from management. 
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • A positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop your skills.
  • Electrical background and relevant project management experience.
  • IT proficient with good documentation control
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to support additional and flexible hours as required. Must be able to travel within the specified region and possibly to other customer locations as and when required. Current passport and driving license are essential.
  • Worked in Bahrain / UAE in Similar role for minimum of 2 years.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BE/BTech in electrical / mechanical qualification with project management experience or similar relevant qualification
 
DESIRABLE
Candidates are expected to have one or more of the following:
  • At least 2 years’ similar industry experience.
  • Experience in project management and reporting.
  • Experience in Field Services
  • Demonstrated experience in critical thinking.
  • Applicable site / regional work permits and cards is a plus.
