Candybox Marketing Inc. is looking for a Copywriter with a passion for digital marketing to join our dynamic team! 

This is a full-time position for candidates located within drive time of our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

• You have 2–4 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
• You can adapt your writing across different brands, audiences, and digital channels while maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice.
• You’re comfortable writing websites, landing pages, email, social media, paid ads, and other digital marketing content.
• You understand how to write for both people and performance, including SEO fundamentals, audience intent, and marketing objectives.
• You’re a strong editor and detail-oriented writer who can manage multiple deadlines, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and client-facing teams.
• You can use AI strategically and responsibly to improve efficiency and explore ideas, while still tailoring the copy, fact-checking for accuracy, and applying strong editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client Leadership and internal teams to understand client goals, brand positioning, audience, and project requirements.
• Conduct industry, competitor, and audience research to inform messaging and content development.
• Translate briefs and strategic direction into clear, effective messaging across deliverables.
• Create compelling, accurate, and audience-focused copy that aligns with client objectives and brand standards.
• Ensure all copy reflects the appropriate tone, voice, style, and messaging for the target audience and channel.
• Write clear, concise, and effective copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, paid media, video scripts, and other digital assets.
• Adapt messaging appropriately across channels while maintaining consistency and effectiveness.
• Apply SEO best practices and keyword integration to support content visibility and performance.
• Use AI tools to generate variations, explore messaging angles, and improve efficiency while applying strong editorial judgment.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently to maintain cohesive messaging across deliverables.
• Review, edit, and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and overall quality before delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and Client Leadership to ensure cohesive execution.
• Manage multiple deliverables within timelines, budgets, and scoped hours while maintaining accurate workflow tracking.
• Incorporate feedback and performance insights to continuously improve copy effectiveness and quality.
  
  

Requirements for the role

• 2–4 years of copywriting experience in an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating writing across digital channels (web, email, social, campaigns).
• Understanding of brand, marketing, and content fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content performance basics.
• Experience using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly) to support workflow.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
