About the Role

 

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring Tendit’s field operations run smoothly. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining crew schedules, monitoring labor availability, and coordinating job logistics across multiple service lines. Working closely with operations and project managers, the Scheduling Coordinator helps align resources with project timelines, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-driven environment and enjoys balancing multiple moving parts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain daily and weekly schedules for field crews.
  • Monitor labor availability and align workforce schedules with upcoming projects.
  • Track and communicate job assignments, availability changes, and updates to operations teams.
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate weather, crew changes, or other disruptions.
  • Confirm all pre-job requirements are met (site access, equipment readiness, safety checks).
  • Maintain and update scheduling boards, reports, and tracking systems.
  • Assist project managers with basic administrative coordination tasks.
  • Track upcoming project timelines and confirm scheduling alignment with crews and equipment.
  • Document and escalate scheduling conflicts or risks to the Operations Manager.
  • Participate in weekly operations meetings to ensure schedule accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatch, coordination, or administrative support.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and follow-up habits within internal teams.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, Excel, and Outlook; CRM experience a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, administration, or logistics a plus.

Compensation for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 hourly, depending on experience.
