Health & Safety Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage HSE practices across our renewable energy projects. You will ensure compliance with UK legislation, drive a strong safety culture, and support safe project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HSE policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and CDM Regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and review RAMS
  • Carry out site audits and inspections
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety Executive and internal teams


Requirements

  • Experience in a Health & Safety role (construction, utilities, or renewables preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma desirable)
  • Membership of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
