About the AI Data Analyst

As an AI Data Analyst at Daphne, you will take ownership of the accuracy and reliability of our AI-driven solutions. By implementing robust evaluation systems and refining AI workflows, you will ensure a high proportion of “First Time Right” client responses in our large language model-based products. Additionally, you will serve as an internal evangelist, sharing the latest AI innovations and breakthroughs to enhance innovation and creativity across engineering and business teams. Your work in optimizing AI performance will be a key foundation of Daphne’s strategy to modernize alternative asset data.

Role and responsibilities

• Responsible for measurement and continuous improvement of accuracy and quality of LLM and RAG products within Daphne. Onboard/Build and run evaluation systems and processes
• Keeps up to date with recent academic developments on prompting, Fine Tuning, RAG and other LLM techniques to provide design inputs to Engineering teams
• Liaise with Client Teams to collect feedback on responses to incorporate specific inputs on LLM pipelines and prompts
• Internal Gen AI Champion. Test, evaluate and recommend third party LLMs, LLM frameworks and new models to engineering team

Experience and skills

•  2-4 years of relevant experience in a technical context (Data Science, Software Engineering, ML Research etc)
• Previous experience building Gen AI based production grade systems
• Expertise in Prompting, Fine Tuning, Tool Calling, RAG and Evaluations
• Familiarity with open source models and infrastructure needed to deploy the same
• Master’s Degree in Data Science or other quantitative academic field. Ability to convert academic breakthroughs and insights on prompting and other gen AI areas into design inputs
