About the role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Brand Designer that can help evolve and execute on Myriad’s brand identity and design systems for both internal and external communications. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will be responsible for everything from marketing websites, print materials, video art direction, promotional materials and miscellaneous creative projects.
As part of this role, you’ll get the opportunity to work across diverse brand touch points, both briefed and proactive. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, high sense of ownership and the desire to flex across multiple projects at once without missing a beat.
What you’ll do
- Execute on and extend existing brand design systems
- We move quickly and so does our brand. You’ll need to be ready to solve for changing needs while still retaining the essence of our brand
- Ensure our brand standards are met across all touch points with a strong sense of art direction and taste
- Design high-impact assets for campaigns, social media, presentations, landing pages, and event materials
- Partner with marketing, content, product, and growth leads to aligning brand initiatives with business goals
- Contribute to the evolution of internal creative workflows and design operations around the brand
- Lead brand design efforts and maintaining a high standard of visual and creative quality across all touchpoints
- Stay up to date with industry trends and bringing fresh, forward-thinking approaches to branding
- Translate abstract concepts into compelling, polished brand expressions that resonate across platforms
- Deliver and solicit feedback to continually improve the Myriad brand and raise the quality and craftsmanship of our output; maintain brand guidelines with strong attention to detail
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear point of view and versatility across mediums
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic, conceptual, and design skills through original, persuasive, and visually compelling work
- Experience building and evolving a brand identity across multiple channels at a high-growth company
- Fluency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in motion design using tools like After Effects, Lottie, Rive
- Deep understanding of typography, color, layout, and imagery, with a refined sense of aesthetics and composition
- Appetite for problem-solving and ability to thrive in fast-paced, multifaceted environments
Bonus points
- 3D design skills in tools like Blender or Spline
- Motion Design, Video, or Illustration experience
- Experience collaborating with content, sales, and product teams
- Experience art directing photographers/videographers, illustrators, or 3D designers
- Experience working on products in both B2B and B2C companies
