We are now looking for an Engineering lead with extensive experience in technical leadership, delivery, and execution, to join our AI product development team.

What you'll do

This role offers the opportunity to drive the technical vision and execution of our AI product development team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI-driven insights by:

• Managing mid-to-low level technical design, ensuring technical quality and alignment within the AI development team.
• Leading execution by planning, iterating, and tracking team deliverables at the sprint level.
• Surfacing critical technical decisions and implications to senior leadership, balancing functional requirements, long-term scalability, and product needs.
• Establishing best practices for technical debt management, code reviews, branching and release strategies, and automated testing.
• Identifying and resolving blockers to keep the team productive, ensuring smooth collaboration across different teams.
• Communicating progress clearly to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining transparency on deliverables and challenges.

Who you are (skills and experience)

Essential:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years coding in Python.
• Strong technical leadership with 2+ years of experience in tech or team leadership, managing execution and delivery.
• Experience working on backend-heavy, R&D-focused, and data-driven products.
• Expertise in distributed or non-deterministic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and senior leadership.
• High emotional intelligence and leadership capability, fostering collaboration and motivation within the team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with agentic AI systems and large language models (LLMs).
• Background in B2C product development.
