About the role

• We are seeking an experienced D365 Retail Functional Consultant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) implementations, working closely with clients to optimize retail operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive digital transformation.

Location: UAE - Remote (the ideal candidate should be present in UAE or eligible to work in UAE)

Essential Functions

• Lead end-to-end implementation of D365 Commerce solutions, covering Retail POS, eCommerce, and omnichannel operations
• Collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements and configure D365 Retail & Commerce functionalities accordingly
• Design and implement point-of-sale (POS) solutions, including integration with payment gateways, inventory, and loyalty programs
• Optimize customer experience and order management workflows, ensuring seamless online and in-store transactions
• Work closely with technical teams to develop integrations between D365 Commerce, ERP modules, third-party systems, and external applications
• Define and execute data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transition from legacy retail systems to D365
• Provide user training, workshops, and post-implementation support to improve system adoption and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with retail industry standards, security protocols, and Microsoft best practices
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure seamless operations
• Stay updated on Microsoft’s latest feature releases, industry trends, and emerging retail technologies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Dynamics AX/D365 implementations, with at least 5 years specializing in Retail & Commerce
• Strong knowledge of POS solutions, eCommerce, omnichannel commerce, order fulfillment, and loyalty programs
• Experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating D365 Commerce with ERP, payment gateways, and external retail applications
• Hands-on experience with Retail Server, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), and Retail SDK
• Understanding of inventory management, pricing, promotions, and customer engagement within D365 Commerce
• Strong experience in data migration, system optimization, and business process automation
• Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate certification preferred
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in retail, fashion, consumer goods, or omnichannel industries is a plus
