The Role

Primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of software products, validating changes before release, and supporting both traditional and AI-driven testing approaches. This includes designing strategies, executing manual and automated tests, troubleshooting incidents, and continuously learning to adapt to emerging technologies and non-deterministic testing challenges

About you

You are a client-focused QA Engineer with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. You communicate clearly with developers and stakeholders, make sound decisions based on data, and manage priorities effectively to deliver high-quality outcomes. Resilient and adaptable, you maintain momentum during busy release cycles and continuously build your skills to keep pace with evolving technologies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and refine acceptance criteria, providing accurate effort estimates.
• Design and execute effective testing strategies across functional, non-functional, and AI-driven behaviours.
• Balance manual, automated, exploratory, and non-deterministic testing to optimise quality and speed.
• Build and prioritise automated tests covering critical business scenarios.
• Log clear, actionable defects, support releases, and assist with post-production issue resolution.
• Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement across testing practices and tools.
• Continuously develop skills, staying current with emerging technologies including LLM-based systems.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience creating testing strategies for functional and non-functional testing.
• Solid knowledge of manual End-to-end, UI and exploratory testing.
• Proficient in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with troubleshooting incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with testing automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or equivalent frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java or C#.
• Experience with testing design patterns such as Page Object Model and scalable testing approaches.
