This isn’t your typical legal role, you’ll be working alongside a dynamic team of developers, product managers, and visionaries to shape the next generation of legal technology for wills, probate, and estate administration. Your insights will directly influence the design of intelligent tools that simplify complex legal processes and empower professionals across the country. About you

We’re on the hunt for a Sydney-based legal professional with experience in or a strong understanding of estate law, you are looking to transition from active practice into a more strategic, tech-forward role. You have first hand insight into what works and what doesn’t in a legal workflow. You’re not tied to traditional ways of working - instead, you're excited by innovation, eager to improve legal processes, and passionate about shaping tools that truly serve estate lawyers. You may no longer want to practice law, but you're ready to use your expertise to influence product development, promote smarter adoption, and help build the future of legal tech.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on estate legislation and legal practices, including staying informed on developments across all states
  • Translate complex legal procedures, such as will drafting, estate planning, trust creation, family provision claims and estate administration, into detailed guides for planning and data mapping
  • Build and engage a network of estate lawyers to gather product requirements, test new ideas, and collect feedback
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide domain expertise to the development team during discovery and delivery phases
  • Support the design, maintenance and promotion of new products and legal workflows to ensure they meet the needs of estate lawyers
  • Collaborate with integration partners to deeply integrate with companion solutions, such as Leap and Smokeball
  • Advocate for InfoTrack Estate Law nationally, including attending seminars and other industry events
  • Contribute to the creation of internal and external go-to-market materials for new and existing products

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law and at least 5 years of experience in legal practice
  • Expertise in estate law practice and a strong understanding of the legal market; experience in other practice areas is a plus
  • Familiarity with the legal tech market and with legal tech products, including practice management software; experience with automated forms is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a global organisation
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a self-motivated and commercially minded approach
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with excellent research skills
  • A passion for leveraging technology to improve legal workflows and drive innovation
