The Role

You’ll be a passionate advocate for people-first strategies, dedicated to building meaningful connections across teams and departments to support a thriving, engaged workforce. With a strong focus on employee engagement, talent development, and innovative HR practices, you work to align people initiatives with broader business objectives. Your approach is grounded in the belief that placing people at the centre of every decision leads to individual growth and drives organisational success.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert HR guidance to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with policy and legislation.
• Partner with managers to provide clear direction on employment policies, effectively managing risk and resolving people-related matters.
• Design and implement HR initiatives aligned with the People & Culture strategy, supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Develop and facilitate structured learning and development programs for employees and leadership.
• Lead the planning and delivery of annual internal leadership development programs.
• Analyse workforce data and feedback to identify trends and advise managers on strategies to enhance performance, productivity, and engagement.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legislative and organizational requirements.
• Ensure WH&S compliance by maintaining up-to-date policies, managing injury and illness reporting, and implementing tools for performance appraisal and job evaluation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• 5 years’ experience working in an HR advisory position in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong relationship building skills and ability to influence across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders.
• Strong drive, resilience, and ability to work under pressure managing multiple, disparate tasks and projects through to completion to tight deadlines.
• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
•  Excellent time management and investigation skills.
