Associate Account Manager

The Role

The role will commence with an existing portfolio and responsibility for generating new clients, primarily within the Auckland and upper North Island market. As new clients are secured, the Associate Account Manager will retain ownership and be responsible for their onboarding, growth, and long-term relationship management.

 

Over time, the portfolio will expand to a sustainable level, with the expectation that within approximately 12–18 months the role will transition into a full Account Management position focused primarily on client retention and growth.

 

This role is based in Auckland but you will work from home and travel into Auckland when meeting with clients.

 

About you

This role is suited to a motivated early-career professional who is not afraid of outbound prospecting, is highly coachable, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

New Business Development (approx. 50%)

  • Prospect and win new clients across NZ, focused on SME law firms, conveyancers, and real estate professionals in Auckland and the upper North Island
  • Conduct outbound sales via cold calling, email outreach, and virtual demos
  • Clearly articulate the value of InfoTrack’s solutions and confidently close new business
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline in Salesforce
  • Retain ownership of all new accounts secured


Account Management (approx. 40%)

  • Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio
  • Onboard and train new clients to drive early adoption and long-term success
  • Maintain regular client contact via face-to-face, phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Monitor usage to support retention and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Work closely with the Senior Account Manager on client strategy and escalations


Operational Support (approx. 10%)

  • Process time-sensitive manual search requests, including council LIM orders
  • Meet strict turnaround times with high attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate client records, activity tracking, and pipeline management in Salesforce
  • Support client setup, documentation, and administrative tasks as required

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a sales, customer service, account management, or similar client-facing role preferred
  • Experience in the legal, property, or technology sectors is advantageous but not essential
  • Confidence engaging with clients and prospects over the phone and face to face
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
  • An understanding of the New Zealand legal or conveyancing environment, or experience with NZ search products (LINZ, PPSR, Companies Office), would be beneficial but is not required
