The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, you'll help shape exceptional user experiences by identifying issues before they reach our customers.

You’re a strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Refine acceptance criteria and provide estimates for work.
• Create testing strategies defining what to test and not to test.
• Optimise test execution across functional and non-functional coverage
• Prioritise and develop automated test cases based on critical business scenarios.
• Accurately document test results, log defects, and report results.
• Assist in post-deployment troubleshooting and problem-solving when required.
• Perform a release as needed, which could require flexible hours if there are delays.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents occurring multiple times in production.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to achieve more effective and efficient testing.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience creating testing strategies and defining what to test and not to test.
• Solid knowledge of manual End-to-end/UI testing.
• Experience with API testing (Including tools like Postman).
• Experience with troubleshooting incidents to identify potential causes and speed up solutions.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java or C#.
• Experience with testing design patterns such as Page Object Model patterns.
