As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Investment Analyst to join our Sydney investment team.

About the Role

This is a role for someone who doesn't wait to be handed a mandate. You will get exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from finding and evaluating opportunities to supporting our portfolio founders, and we will back you to grow into full ownership of the process as quickly as you're capable.

You will work closely with the investment team and gain direct exposure to founders, investors and emerging technology businesses. This is a highly entrepreneurial role suited to someone who is intellectually curious, commercially minded and passionate about innovation and investing.

Working across Investible's venture funds, you will gain exposure to some of the most exciting early stage (Pre-seed to Series A) startups and technologies emerging across Australia and selected global markets.

We're also looking for someone who genuinely wants a long-term career in venture capital. If that's you, we'll invest in getting you there.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate investment opportunities across a diverse range of startups, industries and emerging technologies.
• Conduct commercial, market and financial analysis to support investment decisions and due diligence.
• Research market trends, competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to identify high-potential investment opportunities.
• Build relationships with founders, investors and key players across the startup and venture capital ecosystem.
• Support the sourcing and management of Investible's investment pipeline from initial engagement through to investment.
• Work closely with portfolio companies, providing research, strategic support and helping connect them with valuable networks.
• Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to investor reporting, fund valuations and investment insights.
• Prepare investment papers, recommendations and reports that inform investment committee and stakeholder decision-making.
• Maintain investment data, reporting systems and contribute to thought leadership across the venture capital ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

We’re hiring for hunger first, capability second. The investment skills can be developed; the drive to go further than asked cannot.

We care more about how you think than where you've been. You might come from investing, startups, operations, consulting, engineering, or somewhere else entirely, what matters is that you've operated in environments where your own drive and motivation, judgement, curiosity and output quality were what counted.

You will likely demonstrate:
