The Role

The Client Relations Manager role will primarily support one of Modern’s Talent Consulting practices in the delivery of talent and organization consulting solutions, to ensure projects are planned and executed in a manner meeting client and internal expectations. The Client Relations Manager will provide project and business administration support to the team in all aspects of the process, including document preparation and management, scheduling and planning of candidate and client interviews and meetings, accounts receivable and payable, correspondence and file management. An integral part of the role involves critical thinking and problem-solving within the talent execution and coordination process, ensuring client satisfaction through professional communications, attention to detail, and responsiveness.


What You Will Do:

· Assist with the coordination and tracking of select talent and organization consulting or network assignments and projects.

· Successfully build positive and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and candidates. 

· Format, edit, proofread, and transmit client deliverables with exceptional attention to detail.

· Maintain client and candidate communications through scheduling without error and prioritizing high demand requests.

· Prepare meeting and/or travel itineraries for the consultants, clients, or candidates.

· Support the search teams with account administration and tracking, including consultant expenses, client invoices/receivables and other financial reports.

· Create and own an efficient file management and follow-up system for all search processes.

· Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all information in the Modern database and shared folders.

· Uphold client, candidate, and company-wide confidentiality under GDPR compliance standards



Knowledge Needed for the Role

· Technology: Microsoft Suite, Salesforce CRM, ATS, etc

· Industry knowledge for Executive Search and/or Consulting preferred

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to format, edit, proofread and transmit client deliverables with exceptional attention to detail

· Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills that can be applied to engage effectively with clients and candidates. Takes the time to maintain relationships and create new ones. Have a confident professional presence. Asks great questions and listens effectively

· Organization, Tracking & Planning Skills: Ability to help organize, coordinate, and track multiple workstreams, projects, and tasks while prioritizing timely execution and communication to all stakeholders where applicable. Requires managing up and across team members at times

· Client & Service Orientation Skills: Constantly hones understanding and responsiveness to internal and external client requirements, goals and issues. Demonstrates self-confidence and determination. Manages situations in a calm, steady, “can-do” manner. Strong service orientation – team, client and candidate

Experiences Needed for the Role

· Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior-level executive(s) and working with diverse teams at all levels

· Professional Services, Executive Search, or Consulting industry experience preferred

· Project coordination experience preferred
